Who We Are

Stop the Spray East Bay formed in 2007 in response to the threat of aerial pesticide spraying of the San Francisco Bay Area as part of a state effort to eradicate the light brown apple moth (LBAM).  We continue to oppose the unnecessary, unsafe, ineffective LBAM program and to address other pesticide-related issues with a focus on bringing together producers and consumers to support safe food and safe farms. Our priority is carefully researching and publicizing the facts and the science behind the issues.  We have more than 500 members.
The light brown apple moth program: unsafe, unnecessary, ineffective, wasteful.
